End User License Agreement (EULA) and Terms of Service

By using PaddleUp Club, you agree to these Terms of Service and our commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful community for all pickleball players.

⚠️ 1. CONTENT MODERATION AND USER CONDUCT

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY: PaddleUp Club has ZERO TOLERANCE for objectionable content or abusive behavior. By using our app, you agree to comply with these strict content standards.

Prohibited Content and Behavior:

  • Harassment, bullying, or threatening behavior toward other users
  • Hate speech, discriminatory language, or content targeting individuals based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics
  • Sexual or pornographic content, including inappropriate messages or images
  • Violence or threats of violence
  • Spam, scams, or fraudulent activity
  • Sharing personal information of other users without consent
  • Impersonation of other individuals or organizations
  • Content that violates local, state, or federal laws
  • Any content deemed inappropriate for a sports and social networking platform

Reporting and Moderation:

  • Users can report objectionable content through the in-app reporting system
  • Users can block abusive users to prevent further contact
  • All reported content will be reviewed within 24 hours
  • Violating users will be immediately suspended or permanently banned
  • We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts without warning

By continuing to use PaddleUp Club, you acknowledge that you understand these rules and agree to report any violations you encounter.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By downloading, installing, or using PaddleUp Club, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the application.

3. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

PaddleUp Club is a social networking platform designed to connect pickleball players. Users can create profiles, find playing partners, organize events, and communicate with other players in their area.

4. USER ACCOUNTS AND ELIGIBILITY

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information
  • One person may only maintain one account
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account

5. PRIVACY AND DATA

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using PaddleUp Club, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. USER-GENERATED CONTENT

  • You retain ownership of content you create and share
  • You grant us a license to use, display, and distribute your content within the app
  • You are solely responsible for the content you post
  • We may remove content that violates these terms at any time
  • Content that violates our zero tolerance policy will result in immediate account termination

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

PaddleUp Club and its content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our app or its content without our written permission.

8. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

PaddleUp Club is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur from using our app or meeting other users in person. Use the app at your own risk.

9. TERMINATION

  • We may terminate your account at any time for any reason
  • Violations of our content policy result in immediate termination
  • You may delete your account at any time through the app settings
  • Upon termination, these terms remain in effect for applicable provisions

10. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or email.
